बेसिन कालपश्चता/ BASIN LAG

निवेष (वर्षा अधिकता) तथा निर्गम (सतही अपवाह) के केन्द्रकों के बीच के समय अन्तराल को बेसिन कालपश्चता कहते है। भौतिक रूप से यह किसी वृष्टि के दौरान जल कणों के आवाह क्षेत्र के सभी हिस्से से निर्गम स्थान तक पहुंचने में लिए गए समय का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है।

It is the time difference between the centroids of the input (rainfall excess) and the output (surface runoff). Physically, it represents the mean time of travel of water particles from all parts of the catchment to the outlet during a given storm.
