एक स्थिरांक जो रन्ध्रयुक्त माध्यम में पारगम्यता के मापन में उपयोग होता है। यदि कोई माध्यम इकाई द्रवीय प्रदणता के तहत प्रवाह की दिशा के समकोण पर मापित अनुप्रस्थकाट के इकाई क्षेत्र में से इकाई समय में भौमजल का इकाई आयतन प्रेषित करता है तो उस माध्यम की इकाई द्रवीय चालकता होगी ।
A constant that serves as a measure of permeability of porous medium. A medium has a unit hydraulic conductivity if it will transmit in unit time a unit volume of grornd water through a cross section of unit area measured at right angles to the direction of flow, under a unit hydraulic gradient.
Hydraulic conductivity (K): (syn. permeability coefficient) – A coefficient of proportionality describing the rate at which water can move through a permeable medium. The density and kinematic viscosity must be considered in determining the hydraulic conductivity. It has a dimension of velocity.
