धारण, प्रतिधारण (RETENTION Definition in Hindi) 1. किसी निकासी क्षेत्र पर गिर रहे अवक्षेपण का वह भाग जो किसी दी गई अवधि के दौरान सतही नदी प्रवाह के रूप में नहीं बहता। यह अवधि के दौरान कुल अवक्षेपण तथा कुल अपवाह के बीच का अन्तर है।
