Gramin Vigyan Samiti (GVS) is a Non Profit and Non-Governmental Voluntary Organization working for socioeconomic up-liftment and sustainable development of hill communities since 1998. The Organization is registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 having its registration No. 956-98/99 dated 22/02/1999.
We work in the skill and capacity building of rural communities through participatory approach. Awareness generation amongst rural communities regarding technical education, health, sanitation and income generation through locally available resources are the major interventions done by society in rural areas of hill region. We undertake small trainings and workshop programs for rural youth, farm women and students to generate employment and sustain livelihood in remote areas of Uttarakhand.
