(Definition in Hindi) (1) समान ताप पर किसी पदार्थ की अवस्था परिवर्तन में प्रयुक्त ऊष्मा। (2) उबलते हुये द्रव्य को उसी तापमान पर अवस्था परिवर्तन में जो ऊष्मा प्रयोग होती है, उसे गुप्त ऊष्मा कहते हैं।
