(Definition in Hindi) 1. उष्मा द्वारा संचालित आर्द्र, गर्म वायु का संचरण; भूमध्य रेखा से गर्म होकर ध्रुव की ओर बहती हुई 300 अक्षांश तक पहुंच कर ठंडी व सिकुड़ कर पुनः भूमध्य रेखा पर आती है। प्रथम बार जार्ज हेडली ने व्यापारिक पवनों की व्याख्या की थी।
