कृत्रिम अवक्षेपण

इसका तात्पर्य है किसी अवक्षेपित न होने वाले मेघ में कार्बन-डाईआक्साइड अथवा सिल्वर आयोडाइड जैसे पदार्थ पहुंचा कर कृत्रिम रूप से अवक्षेपण कराया जाना। आर्थिक दृष्टिकोण से अभी इस विधि का कोई महत्व नहीं है।

It means causing precipitation artificially by the introduction of materials like solid carbon dioxide or silver iodide into a non precipitating cloud. The experiments have not yet become of economic importance.
