संकल्पनात्मक जलवैज्ञानिक मॉडल/ CONCEPTUAL HYDROLOGICAL MODEL

जल चक्र में कुछ अथवा सभी प्रक्रमों का सरलीकृत गणितीय निदर्शन, जिसमें प्राकृतिक जलविज्ञानीय घटनाओं को गणितीय रूप में काल एवं स्थान के अनुक्रम में साथ सम्बद्ध किया जाता है। जलवैज्ञानिक संकल्पनात्मक मॉडल किसी बेसिन के व्यवहार के अनुरूपण के लिए प्रयुक्त किए जाते है।

Simplified mathematical representation of some or all of the processes in the hydrological cycle by a set of hydrological concepts expressed in mathematical notations and linked together in a time and space sequence corresponding to that occurring in nature. Hydrological conceptual models are used for simulation of the behavior of the basin.
