सूखा सूचकांक/ DROUGHT INDEX

ऐसे अभिकलित मान जो दीर्घ अवधि के असामान्य आर्द्रता अभाव/वर्षा अभाव के कुछ संचित प्रभावों से सम्बद्ध हों। धाराओं, नदियों, झीलों, जलाशयों आदि में माध्य से निम्न जल स्तरों को दर्शाने वाले सूचकांक को जलवैज्ञानिक सूचकांक कहते हैं। कृषि संबंधी सूचकांक को चरम या असामान्य वाष्पन ह्रास के संचित प्रभावों से सम्बद्ध किया जाता है।
