वृष्टि स्थानान्तरण/ TRANSPOSITION OF STORM

मौसम विज्ञानीय समानता के क्षेत्र में किसी एक क्षेत्र से अन्य क्षेत्र में वृष्टि के अनुप्रयोग को वृष्टि स्थानान्तरण कहते है। इसमें जिस क्षेत्र में वृष्टि को पक्षांतरित किया जाता है, उसमें उस वृष्टि के होने की संभावना के निर्धारण की आवश्यकता होती है।

It means application of a storm from one area to some other area within the region of meteorological homogeneity. It requires determination of whether a particular storm could have occurred in the area to which it is to be transposed.
