भौमजल स्तर/ WATER TABLE

भौमजल स्तर वायुमण्डलीय दाब पर सन्तृप्त क्षेत्र की ऊपरी सतह है। इस स्तर पर अपरिबद्ध जलदायी स्तर में स्थित कूप में जल खड़ा होता है।

Water table is the upper surface of the zone of saturation at atmospheric pressure. It the level at which water stands in a well penetrating the unconfined aquifers.
