National DevelopmentDrinking Water & Sanitation Programme: On the 22nd March (World Water Day) the organization celebrate this day very much through conduct an awareness camp/ workshop in the locality. In this camp/ workshop the Participants and Resource person interact to each- other frequently in the question hours. They awared the public about groundwater used for freshwater drinking supplies can be easily overexploited by other competing users like irrigation, industry, etc. When this happens it can become contaminated with salt water, fluoride or other geogenic contaminants which makes it unsuitable for use. Water available in rivers and lakes is sometimes polluted, making it harmful to plants, animals and people. Sustainability and safe sanitation practices are the forerunner for safe drinking water supply. The paradigm shift in the new framework is to move towards achieving universal access to rural population for having safe and sustainable drinking water supply rather than a mere coverage of habitations, the latter not necessarily speaking about equity and vulnerability issues. Therefore the aim is to work at achieving household level drinking water security, which shall obviously ensure universal access. History stands witness to man’s use of varied forms of technology and science, ranging from the simplest to the most complicated, for storing and extracting water.
