Nature Foundation India

Nature Foundation (India) is an NGO registered under the Society Reg. Act vide Reg. No. 10142 of 2004. We have been working on dissemination of information on issues related to ecological and environmental issues. The areas where we have been able to make our humble contribution include: • Water conservation (traditional) methods. • Rooftop water harvesting initiatives. • Highlighting bad effects of water contamination by industrial effluents and medical waste. • The quality and substance of our films has been widely appreciated and nominated for Best Film category in Vatavaran, it was also nominated in “Quotes from the Earth” a film festival in cooperation with Swiss Embassy by Toxics Link, as well as XIIth International Rain water catchments systems conference in New Delhi by WSSCC, Geneva. • We also commissioned a paper on “Bio – Weapons” by a student of Msc (environment) Our future programmes include seminars and dissemination of information to Mofussil schools.
