नगर जलविज्ञान/ URBAN HYDROLOGY

जलविज्ञान की वह शाखा जिसमें नगरों तथा महानगरों के जलविज्ञान का अध्ययन किया जाता है जहां अधिकांश भाग लगभग अपारगम्य पृश्ठों तथा कृत्रिम भूमि निर्माण से युक्त होते है। इसमें नगर विकास के प्रभावों को महत्व दिया जाता है।

That branch of hydrology which deals with the hydrology of urban and metropolitan areas, where substantial portion consist of nearly impervious surfaces and artificial land relief, emphasizing the effect of urban developments.
